Centre guide to SQA appeals procedures
In the course of developing, quality assuring and assessing qualifications, we have to take decisions and carry out processes that affect centres and candidates.
This document sets out grounds for appeal and procedures for appealing against SQA decisions on:
- centre or qualifications approval
- systems verification
- external verification of internal assessment
- malpractice (centre and/or candidate)
- devolved authority status
- breach of the terms of a centre operating agreement
