Lead sector developments and ensure they meet stakeholder needs, SQA quality standards and timelines
Lead, motivate and support Qualification Development Consultants
Manage in-country stakeholder engagement at sector committees in Saudi
Develop a detailed understanding of the policies, guidance and advice associated with the project in relation to Unit development, Unit credit, Unit levelling and Qualification development
Review occupational summaries
Review short course units and existing qualifications for sector area
Review generic qualification units to confirm relevance
Identify short course units to be used in Qualification Units/Qualifications
Create draft qualification structure
Propose qualification unit type, credit & level, rationale - compare with EQF
Produce first draft qualification structure for occupational areas
Produce schedule of work based on detailed plans
Qualification Development Consultants
Produce definitive qualification documentation that meets stakeholder needs, SQA quality standards and timelines
Develop a detailed understanding of the policies, guidance and advice associated with the project in relation to Unit development, Unit credit, Unit levelling and Qualification development
Attend Unit writing training and editing events
Meet the dates for completion of interim drafts and final draft
Write quality units that meet house style rules and quality requirements
Incorporate any changes to the unit(s) required by consultation or quality assurance events
Work to tight timelines
Qualification Development Managers/Consultants will be required to apply by Sector and must be able to work to the subject area.
