I am requesting the following information under freedom of information legislation.

Request: Agency staff

Please advise the total spend on recruitment agencies in the 2022-2023 financial year?

Please breakdown both spend on the agency that finds candidates for job vacancies and agencies that supply temporary staff?

Please advise what the temporary agency spend for admin, call centre, data processing and clerical roles in the 2022-2023 financial year?
Please advise what the temporary agency spend for roles such as warehouse, catering and cleaners in the 2022-2023 financial year?
Please advise what the permanent agency spend has been in the 2022-2023 financial year?

1          Please advise the total spend on recruitment agencies in the 2022-2023 financial year?

The total spend on recruitment agencies was £1,693,956.01.

Please breakdown both spend on the agency that finds candidates for job vacancies and agencies that supply temporary staff?

There was £86,313.20 spent recruiting candidates for job vacancies through agencies and £1,607,642.81 spent on recruiting temporary staff.

2          Please advise what the temporary agency spend for admin, call centre, data processing and clerical roles in the 2022-2023 financial year?

Under section 17 of the Act, if we are unable to provide information, we must inform you.

We are unable to provide a breakdown by job role as requested. It is the total spent on agency staff that we have recorded, and the figure for temporary staff, stated above, covers all the different job roles recruited for temporary positions.

3          Please advise what the temporary agency spend for roles such as warehouse, catering and cleaners in the 2022-2023 financial year?
