FOI23/24 011 School Leavers Achieving SQCF Level 6 Awards

I am requesting information about the number of school leavers gaining SQA national awards at SQCF level 6 or above in the academic year 2021/22, broken down by school or educational establishment.

Specifically, please can I request (in spreadsheet format) for each school or educational establishment:

- School feature code, if known, or postcode if not

- School name

- Number in leaver cohort

- Number of leaver cohort attaining 5 or more awards at SQCF level 6 or above

- Number of leaver cohort attaining 4 or more awards at SQCF level 6 or above

- Number of leaver cohort attaining 3 or more awards at SQCF level 6 or above

- Number of leaver cohort attaining 2 or more awards at SQCF level 6 or above

If the following cannot be met within cost limits, please can you provide me with advice on how I might refine my request.

I understand where schools have very few numbers, that these numbers may have to be kept confidential. 

Where qualifications were subject to appeal, I would be looking for the results after any appeals had been taken into account.

We are unable to provide the information requested as it is not held by the SQA. Section 25 of FOISA provides that where an authority does not hold information requested it should notify the requester to that effect.

We don’t hold information on school leavers. However, we believe that the Scottish Government may hold the information relevant to your requests and you should direct your requests to that organisation.
