How much was spent in severance pay in the years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.
Response
The costs of severance payments for 2020-21 can be found on page 75 within the SQA published Annual Report and Accounts accessible at: Annual Report and Accounts 2020–21
The Annual Report and Accounts for 2021-22 are still subject to approval and will be laid in Parliament in accordance with statutory requirements prior to 31st December 2022. As the Annual Report and Accounts are prepared in accordance with the Financial Reporting Manual the information requested will be publicly available within the notes to the accounts as is the case in previous years.
