Customised awards in conservation

Historic Environment Scotland is the national body set up to investigate, care for and promote Scotland’s historic environment. They noticed a gap in the market for courses that would meet their business needs. To address this gap, they worked with SQA to create two customised awards in conservation, which include specific requirements needed to upskill their workforce. There was support allocated to us right from the start, and our initial conversations explored the options that were available to us. We agreed together that a customised award was the best choice, and we got to work on the development process.
