NextGen: HN Pilot Centre Update

Quality Manager Costa Group   

The second Quality Manager Costa group of this session is scheduled on Thursday 8 December. Invitations will be sent to Quality Managers in due course. We look forward to meeting with you again to continue the rich conversation we have experienced from previous sessions.     

    

HEI Showcase Events   

We are continuing to plan for our Higher Education Institute (HEI) Showcase events that will take place from Monday 24 October. The sessions are designed to showcase each NextGen: HN qualification by explaining the qualification aims, structure, content and the knowledge and skills covered by the unit outcomes. Invitations should now been sent out to HEI stakeholders and bookings for each event continue to take place.   

   

Pilot Centre Themed Conversations   

We will be hosting Pilot Centre Themed Conversation events in November 2022, March 2023 and June 2023. The sessions are designed to give an opportunity for us to focus on a particular area of NextGen: HN and allow pilot centres the chance to share knowledge and experiences.  

The first of these sessions will be on Thursday 17 November 2022 and themed around Articulation and Progression. You can book your place on our event booking system. 

   

SQA Connections Week  

The NextGen: HN team will be hosting a webinar at SQA Connections Week, taking place on Thursday 10 November. The session will highlight ‘The journey of a qualification’ and may be of interest to colleagues at your centre who have not been directly involved in the pilot.
